Labelytics is app which combines AI with everybody's daily life. We use lots of products every and may be curiously look at the ingredients or the labels on the product. And those labels are notorious first for using small fonts and secondly there is no way someone can read all the ingredients in a glance, understanding the ingredients is a different story.

This is where Labelytics app comes in, all you have to do is take a photo of the product ingredients label and app will first generate a report of the ingredients and then will also gives you following information about each ingredient:

  • What it is.
  • What it commonly used for.
  • Good for.
  • Harmful effects.

How it works

  • App user either uploads or click a photo of the product label.
  • The image is then processed by the google gemini model to detect the text in the image.
  • The detected text is then passed to the model which generates the report of the ingredients.
  • The report is then displayed to the user.
  • User can go through all the ingredients and get more information about each ingredient by chatting with their report.
  • Reports are stored locally on the user's device and are not shared with anyone or any third party.

Currently in development, I will be updating the app with more features and improvements. And moving on to submit to both app store and play store. You can also check out more details at the project page. Also don't forget to vote for the app in the Google Gemini AI App Competition.
